What subjects does Meleto teach?
Meleto will provide tuition in the three core academic subjects: Maths, English, and Science. At the moment, only the Maths tuition service is available, but English and Science tuition will be available in the near future.
What level of student is Meleto appropriate for?
Meleto is best suited for four categories of students: primary education (with a focus on Key Stage 2), secondary education (with a focus on Key Stage 3), home education, and adult education. Because Meleto adapts to each student's pace of learning, it is suitable for both advanced students and those who need a little extra help.
What is the curriculum of each subject?
Meleto develops the curriculum of all its courses based on the Key Objectives defined by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. The curriculum of each course is geared towards the age group and learning ability of the students for that course. Please go to the Courses menu to see a detailed description of each course.
How long do I have to study each time?
On average, students use Meleto for 10 to 15 minutes, three times a week.
How are the courses developed?
All of Meleto’s courses are developed by experienced teachers/tutors drawing upon their extensive educational experience to deliver high quality tuition.
How much does the service cost?

Can I try using the service for free before I buy a subscription?
Yes! We are so confident that you will benefit from and enjoy our service that we allow you to use the service for free for one lesson. If you like what you see and would like to continue with the course, you can become a subscriber to the service. If you do not want to continue the service after the free trial, there is absolutely no obligation to do so.
Can I cancel the subscription once I have started?
If you are paying for the tuition service with Payment Plan 1 or Payment Plan 2 (payment plans), you can cancel the service before finishing the course. Please provide Meleto with two weeks notice prior to the start of your next billing period in order to cancel the subscription and no further charges will be made to your account. You will have access to lessons that you have already purchased for up to 1 month after canceling the subscription.
I do not live in the UK, do you have any courses that are suitable for me?
All Meleto courses cover basic skills that are taught throughout the world. It does not matter whether you live in the UK, US, Continental Europe, or anywhere else in the world, the principles of Maths, English, and Science are exactly the same. So, if you want to improve your knowledge in these areas, Meleto can help. Judge for yourself by registering for our free trial.
If I do not live in the UK, can I still subscribe to Meleto’s service?
Yes, Meleto services are available as long as you can access the Internet and pay for the service with a credit card or debit card. Please be aware that Meleto will charge all subscriptions in the UK currency, pounds sterling (£). Please ask your credit/debit card provider about currency conversion rates from your local currency to pounds sterling.
I have completed the free tuition, how do I continue the tuition?
To continue using the service after your free trial period has ended, you must subscribe to the Meleto service.
What type of computer do I need to use Meleto?
You can access the Meleto service using any computer which has an Internet connection and a modern Internet Browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6, Netscape Navigator version 7, Opera version 7 or Firefox version 1 . The enhanced features of the service require for you to have "Cookies" and "Javascript" enabled and be able to view "Flash" movies.
Are my payment details safe?
All payments for Meleto's courses are handled by WorldPay, the leader in secure Internet payment solutions. WorldPay is part of the second biggest bank in Europe and handles secure Internet payments for millions of users.
Does Meleto store my credit card details?
For security reasons, Meleto does not store any of your credit card details. All your credit card details are handled by WorldPay to ensure that the highest level of security is applied to all of your payments.
